Cruise Ships
Evac’s food waste handling and processing systems are based on vacuum conveying technology. Vacuum systems allow segregated conveying of the food waste generated on board. They are completely automatic and designed as an entirely closed system.

Treatment – Dry and Wet Waste
Solid waste is passed through a skid mounted shredder to reduce the volume and cut the solids into pieces, suitable for feeding into the incinerator for burning. The shredder is explained in a separate chapter below.
