短路保护就是短路瞬时跳闸。要注意在负荷变化后及时调整保护的整定值，防止整定值过小频繁跳闸影响供电质量，或整定值过大使线路和设备得不到有效保护。

过载延时保护
Overload delay protection
过载延时保护是指负荷电流超过设备的限定范围有烧毁设备的危险，保护装置能在一定时间内切断电源。过载有个热量积累的过程，保护动作不需要过于迅速。对于短时过电流，保护不应该动作。
